QUEENSBURY — A Gansevoort woman who stole and used a debit card from a Lake George business pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony.
Kristin M. Thrane, 38, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, in connection with the theft of the card from a purse at a Canada Street business.
Thrane later used the card to make about $500 in purchases, and was arrested by State Police in June.
Warren County Judge John Hall put her on interim probation for a year, and directed her to make restitution. If she does well, she may be allowed to withdraw her felony plea and plead guilty to a misdemeanor. If she does not do well, she faces a jail or state prison term.
