WILTON — A traffic stop in Wilton early Sunday led to the arrest of a Gansevoort man on felony driving while intoxicated charges, police said.

Nicholas Q. Furnia, 24, of Fairway Boulevard, was pulled over for speeding on Route 9 just before 4:30 a.m., according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.

He was found to be intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content about 0.08 percent, and had a prior DWI conviction that elevated the charge to a felony, police said in a news release.

Furnia was released pending prosecution in Wilton Town Court.
