First measurable snow is coming
Areas to the north of Glens Falls will likely see their first significant snowfall of the season late Friday into Saturday.
Essex, Hamilton and northern Warren counties will likely see several inches of snow from the storm that moves through our region, starting Friday afternoon.
Up to 6 inches of snow is possible in some parts of the Adirondacks, including Indian Lake and northwestern Warren County. High winds are likely Saturday, with lake effect snow possible as well.
Another storm expected around Tuesday will bring a chance for snow to the entire region, according to the National Weather Service.
