WHITE CREEK — An Eagle Bridge man was found dead Thursday after an all-terrain vehicle he was riding overturned on top of him, police said.

William M. Nolan Jr., 61, of Waite Hill Road, was found by family members Thursday morning near a seasonal camp he owned off Bodenstab Lane, according to State Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and police believe he died late Wednesday or early Thursday.

State Police said he had taken the ATV to the camp by himself Wednesday night, and it accidentally rolled on top of him as he rode it near the camp.

Family members began looking for him early Thursday when he hadn't returned home. Police were called at 9:48 a.m.
