GLENS FALLS — Glens Falls 5th Ward Supervisor Bennet Driscoll plans to run for re-election to hold the post to which he was appointed last year.

Driscoll, who was appointed in January 2018 to fill out a term for the 5th Ward seat when Supervisor Matt MacDonald stepped down for employment reasons, plans to run on the Democratic line, and has also been endorsed by the Warren County Conservative Committee.

He served on the Glens Falls Common Council from 2006 to 2013, and works for Catholic Charities of Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties. He was elected last November to serve the final year of MacDonald's term, with no one opposing him.
