HADLEY — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after police said he stabbed an acquaintance during a domestic incident at 67 Adirondack Road.
The victim had superficial injuries and was transported to the hospital and treated and released, police said.
The boy, who was charged with felony second-degree assault, stabbed the victim three times, according to a news release from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
He fled on foot before being located a short distance away, police said. His name is not being released because of his age.
As part of the same incident, April N. Tortorice, 39, who lives at the address, is accused of violating an order of protection. Tortorice was charged with misdemeanor second-degree criminal contempt.
Both Tortorice and the boy were arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and released on their own recognizance.
The juvenile was referred to Family Court for further proceedings.
Police did not say in the news release what the relationship is between Tortorice and the boy.
