QUEENSBURY -- A Brooklyn woman who was arrested last summer on charges she possessed heroin and crack cocaine at a motel in Queensbury has pleaded guilty to a felony charge, officials said.

Nouf Taraman, 24, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with the seizure of drugs last January, according to the Warren County District Attorney's Office.

Taraman and her then-boyfriend, Tyson A. Poulos, 30, of Queensbury were charged in connection with the seizure from the motel room they shared.

Warren County Judge John Hall placed Taraman on interim probation for a year. If she does well, she faces probation. If not, she faces a jail or prison term.

Charges are still pending against Poulos, who is serving a state prison term for jail vandalism.
