WILTON — A woman from Rochester was charged with a felony and numerous misdemeanors after a traffic stop Sunday on the Northway, police records show.
Tanisha N. McKnight, 34, was arrested after she was stopped around 10:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Exit 16, according to the State Police public information website.
She was found to be driving despite the fact her license was suspended or revoked, which led to the felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, the website showed.
McKnight was also charged with a misdemeanor of driving without an interlock ignition device and issued tickets for unlawful possession of marijuana and traffic violations.
McKnight was released pending prosecution in Wilton Town Court.
