QUEENSBURY — The proprietor of a technology company was arrested recently for allegedly taking more than $1,800 from a client for work but failing to perform the job or return the money, and authorities are questioning whether there are additional victims, police said.
Johnny R. Bryant, 43, of Troy, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, for allegedly taking $1,852 to upgrade a website for a Queensbury business owner, but failing to do any work and declining to return the money when asked, police said.
Bryant operates Green Click Innovations, and the Sheriff's Office has information that the company did business with others in Warren County. Anyone who believes they may have been the victim of a crime was asked to call the agency at 518-743-2500.
Sheriff's Investigator Doug David and Officer Dan Habshi handled the case.
