KINGSBURY — Three young men from Queensbury have been charged with burglarizing a seasonal home near Smith Basin, breaking in in hopes of finding marijuana to steal, officials said.

Aaron M. Barger, 19, Brandon Bearor, 16, and Matthew W. Flynn, 20, were each charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and misdemeanor criminal trespass for the July break-in, according to State Police.

The men believed the owner may have stored marijuana there, but they found no drugs and instead are believed to have stolen other valuables, police said.

Trail camera video from the area helped troopers determine who was involved.

Barger and Bearor were arrested Tuesday and initially sent to Washington County Jail. Both had been released as of Thursday afternoon.

Flynn is in a state substance abuse treatment program, and will be arrested when he is released, officials said.
