GREENWICH — A Greenwich teen was arrested early Sunday after he was caught burglarizing a building on Lick Springs Road to steal tools, police said.

Scott M. Bullard, 19, of Lick Springs Road, was seen fleeing the building by a witness, and had fled before police arrived, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The owner determined that tools had been taken. Bullard was located at his home later Sunday and was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, a misdemeanor count of petit larceny and non-criminal trespass, police said.

Bullard was arraigned and released pending prosecution in Greenwich Town Court.

Sheriff's deputies Lance Barber and Matt Jackson and Sgt. Robert Sullivan handled the case.
