SALEM — A Salem man was jailed Sunday after police found three pounds of marijuana in his home when they were called there for a "domestic-related incident," police said.
Jeffrey A. Cary, 60, of Dillon Hill Road, was arrested after the Washington County Sheriff's Office was called to his home at 11:44 p.m., police said.
During the police response, marijuana was located and Cary was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony. He was sent to Washington County Jail on Sunday, but had been released as of Wednesday.
No charges were filed for the "domestic-related" incident that resulted in police being sent to the home.
