QUEENSBURY — A Queensbury man who is on probation for a drug conviction was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon Monday night after a traffic stop led to the seizure of two illegal billy clubs, police said.
Timothy S. Condon Jr., 29, was arrested after State Police stopped him for driving a vehicle with a headlight out on Rhode Island Avenue just before 8 p.m. Monday, according to police.
He was found to be driving without a license and to be in possession of the weapons, leading to a felony count of criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, State Police said.
Condon was sentenced to 4 months in Warren County Jail and 5 years on probation last summer for a guilty plea to felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned early Tuesday and sent to Warren County Jail for lack of bail.
