FORT EDWARD — A Troy man who police said burglarized a home in Easton last summer has been sentenced to up to 3 years in state prison.

Michael W. Taylor, 38, pleaded guilty to felony criminal possession of stolen property for a burglary last August at a home on Valley Falls Road. A safe, tools and other valuables were stolen, according to State Police.

Taylor, who had a prior felony conviction, was sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison by Washington County Judge Kelly McKeighan.

Charges are still pending against a co-defendant, Matthew W. Gorman, 37, of Schaghticoke. Gorman was acquainted with a resident of the home.
