ELIZABETHTOWN — A Massachusetts man was convicted of two felony drug counts Thursday for possessing crack cocaine in Ticonderoga earlier this year.
Keemo H. Paul, 23, was found guilty after a four-day trial in Essex County Court in connection with a March 18 arrest in Ticonderoga.
He was convicted in connection with the seizure of 140 bags of crack cocaine and $10,000 in cash from a home on Lord Howe Street in Ticonderoga.
Paul was also charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a weapon for possession of a sword hidden in a cane, but he was acquitted of that count.
Co-defendant Claudia L. Pina, 21, also from Fall River, Massachusetts, was convicted after a trial in October.
Pina is to be sentenced Monday. Paul's sentencing date was not released.
