FORT EDWARD — A Vermont man who was pulled over in Fort Ann last September for driving under the influence of drugs, leading to the seizure of 100 bags of heroin, has pleaded guilty to a felony drug count.

Brian M. Davidson, 35, of New Haven, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for a Sept. 24 arrest by State Police on Route 149.

Davidson and passenger Benjamin O. Broughton, 37, of Bristol, Vermont, were arrested that day. Broughton was sentenced last month to 3 years in state prison and 2 years on parole, while Davidson likely faces 3 years in prison and 1 year on parole when sentenced Feb. 8 by Washington County Judge Kelly McKeighan.
