CORINTH — A Corinth man was jailed Sunday for a high-speed chase with State Police a day earlier, police records show.
Travis J. Emery, 40, was arrested after a pursuit late Saturday night in Corinth, according to the State Police public information website. Police did not say how long the chase lasted, or how fast the fleeing driver drove.
He was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor reckless driving, circumventing an interlock ignition device and unlawful fleeing of a police officer and issued 15 traffic tickets, among them speeding, illegal u-turn and passing a vehicle on the right.
Emery, who has a history of numerous prior driving while intoxicated arrests, was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail for lack of bail, but had been released as of Tuesday afternoon.
