Try 3 months for $3

QUEENSBURY — A Warrensburg man who was charged with burglary for going into a Wal-Mart store to shoplift when he had been banned was sentenced to 9 months in Warren County Jail.

Michael A. Fuschino, 58, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary for going into the chain's store on Route 9 in Queensbury to steal two Reese's candy bars worth $1.96, last Sept. 23.

He had been banned from Walmart stores in 2016 for prior thefts, so entering the building to a commit a crime such as theft amounted to the crime of burglary.

Fuschino, who has a lengthy criminal record that included a 1999 felony conviction for serial stalking and harassment of a woman, was sentenced to 9 months in Warren County Jail by county Judge John Hall.

He must make $32 restitution, as he was a suspect in another shoplifting incident that was covered as part of his plea deal.
