Fundraiser — Doreen’s Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry, 293 ½ Main St., will hold its one year anniversary fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be a bounce house, games, music, food and more.

Meeting — AARP Chapter No. 1274 Hudson Falls/Fort Edward will hold its monthly meeting on Monday at the American Legion on Pearl Street. Board members will meet at 11:30 a.m. The business meeting will be held at 12:15 p.m. Interested parties wishing to join and former members are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Lecture and Lunch Series — SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education Norman A. Enhorning Lecture and Lunch Series will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Sept. 18 to Oct. 9 on the Queensbury Campus.

The 12 lectures will be presented by SUNY Adirondack distinguished faculty members and local experts. A hot lunch and morning refreshments are included in the $139 price.

Parkinson’s Support Group — The Parkinson’s Support Group of Saratoga will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Commons Building, Saratoga Room, at Wesley Health Care Center, 156 Lawrence St. Guest speaker will be Cheryl Pierce, speech therapist at Glens Falls Hospital.

The meeting is free and open to anyone with Parkinson’s, family members, caregivers and friends.

Meeting and Barbecue — Old Saratoga Seniors will meet at noon Wednesday at Town Hall on Spring Street. The Saratoga County Office for the Aging will host a barbecue. A business meeting will follow.
