Bolton water break

Bolton town workers on Horicon Avenue work Tuesday to repair a water main break.

BOLTON — The boil water order that was enacted last week when a water line burst in Bolton was lifted Wednesday, so residents do not have to boil drinking water.

A temporary bypass has been put in place at the break on Horicon Avenue. The line broke under a Warren County-owned bridge over Finkle Brook that is scheduled for replacement, so a permanent repair will be reviewed as part of the upcoming bridge replacement project, town Supervisor Ron Conover said.
