SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Adirondack Trust Company has promoted Matthew D’Abate to president of the company’s insurance division, Amsure, and senior vice president of the bank.
D’Abate’s predecessor, Gene Quirk, who has been with the Adirondack Trust Co. for more than 15 years, has retired as president of Amsure but will remain with the company as a consultant until the end of the year.
D’Abate joined Adirondack Trust Co. in 1996 and held a variety of management positions.
Over the past 15 years, Adirondack Trust Insurance Agency (now known as Amsure) has grown into one of the largest insurance agencies in the Capital District.
Amsure is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adirondack Trust Company and offers a wide range of commercial and personal insurance services.
The Adirondack Trust Company is an independent, locally owned and operated, community bank offering a wide variety of business and personal financial services.
Adirondack Trust Co. has also promoted Priscilla Petta to assistant vice president and Caroline Putman to assistant treasurer of the bank.
Petta joined the company in November of 2010 as a financial analyst in the credit analysis department.
Putman first joined the company in 1982 as a management trainee.
She rejoined the company in 2014 as a senior auditor. She holds her current position in the bank’s wealth management group as an IRA administrator.
