New Marine Corps recruiter

QUEENSBURY — Staff Sgt. Carlton Stacy III was recently assigned to the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office in Mount Royal Plaza on Route 9.

Before being assigned to Queensbury, Stacy was stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay for six years.

His other assignments include 10 years at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton in California; Okinawa, Japan; 29 Palms in California; South Korea; Kuwait; Iraq; Australia and Guam.

Stacy previously worked as an H-1 flight line helicopter mechanic and production control supervisor.

He has had a distinguished career in the Marine Corps, working multiple presidential support missions, doing humanitarian aid and completing several combat and Marine expeditionary deployments, according to a news release.

Man arrested for aggravated DWI

Police arrested Aaron D. Dehm, 44, of South Burlington, Vermont at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon for Aggravated DWI in Queensbury.

A release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said a complaint was filed for erratic operation of a vehicle on State Route 149. Police responded to the complaint and Dehm failed a Standardized Field Sobriety Test before being placed under arrest, according to the report.

Policed said Dehm was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.35%, more than four times the legal limit.

Dehm will appear in the Town of Queensbury Court at a later date.
