The rise of obesity is causing many Americans to experience obstructive sleep apnea.

According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, obstructive sleep apnea affects about 9% of women and 24% of men.

Untreated apnea can result in many diseases and an increased chance of being in a motor vehicle crash.
