VICTORY MILLS — William I. White, 85, a resident of Victory Mills, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born Feb. 11, 1933 in Clarks Mills, he was the son of the late Edgar W. and Coral Monroe White.
William was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He worked as a foreman for DOT in Schuylerville and was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, William White; one brother, Edgar V. White; and one sister, Joyce White.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Agatha White of Victory Mills; four sons, Robert (Judith) White, Michael E. White, Patrick D. (Jill) White and Joseph J. (Abner) White; one daughter, Debra (William) Brown; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be held following Mass at the David Nevins Community Center in Victory Mills.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
