GLENS FALLS — Vivian (Sellingham) Peck, 98, of Glens Falls and formerly of Moreau, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at The Pines of Glens Falls, where she had been a resident.
Born in Glens Falls on Oct. 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Isabel (Boviar) Sellingham.
Vivian enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and growing flowers. She had a keen and vibrant sense of humor and is fondly remembered for her feisty personality and her love for candy. She was most proud of her grandchildren and had been a loving caretaker to her husband before he passed away.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Ernest W. Peck; her son, Lynn E. Peck, and Lynn’s wife, Libby; and her sister, Jessie Sellingham.
Survivors include her son, Gordon P. Peck Sr.; her grandchildren, Paul Peck, Lyndon (Kim) Peck, Robert (Amy) Peck, Gordon Jr., Penny, Shelby, Danielle and James; and her great-grandson, Lucas Peck.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.
Family and friends are invited to come at 3 p.m. to join the family for a viewing.
Burial will be held at a later date in Glens Falls Cemetery, Glens Falls.
