HUDSON FALLS — Theodore W. Ames, 57, of Hudson Falls, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Born on Aug. 24, 1960 in Rutland, Vermont, he was the son of Shirley (Mercier) Case of Fort Edward and the late Eustache Ames.
Ted was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School and for over 20 years, was an employee of Coca Cola.
He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and NASCAR. His family was very important to him. Ted was a “beloved” uncle to all.
Ted was predeceased by his father, and his stepfather, George Case.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Case of Fort Edward; his three brothers, Tim Ames of Fort Edward, Jason Mattison of Wasilla, Alaska and Greg VanDeusen and his wife, Lisa of Greenwich; his two sisters, Theresa (Ames) Backus of Moreau and Tina Ames of Gillette, Wyoming; his nephews, Kelly Ames of Moreau, Jacob Mattison, who is now serving in the US Air Force in New Mexico, Bradley Mattison and Tyler Mattison, all of Wasilla, Alaska; and his niece, Emily Mattison of Wasilla, Alaska.
Ted had many lifelong friends whom he cherished deeply.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Carleton Funeral Home Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Wildlife Association of your choice.
