CORDELL, Okla. — Sharon M (Brockway) Turnage, 63, of Cordell Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Deaconess Hospital, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, from complications of a short illness.
Daughter of the late Josephine Way and Raymond Brockway of Fort Miller, she is predeceased by her mother, father, and sister, Wanda Albert.
Sharon attended Schuylerville School, she enjoyed traveling in the midwest, and spending time with family. She held many jobs over her lifetime including, certified nurses aid, cleaning houses, and working in the food industry. She was known for her playful personality and witty sense of humor.
Left to cherish her memory are her longtime partner, Raymond (Junior) Skinner; her son, Clayton Brockway and his wife Jessica, of Fort Miller; her son, Aaron Tucker and his wife Meghan, of New Lebanon; her daughter, Hila Tucker, of Greenwich; her son, Anthony Pliscofsky and his wife Katie, of Fort Edward; her daughter, Natasha Brockway of Greenwich; her son, Kerry Karp and his wife Rachel, of Albia, Iowa; her daughter, Samantha Weir and her husband Shawn, of Greenwich; her 18 grandchildren; her brothers, Raymond Brockway and his wife, Connie, Bruce Brockway and his wife, Doris, Dennis Brockway; her sisters, Pauletta Ruckinski and her husband, John, Janice Brockway, Brenda Weatherwax and her husband, Mert, Becky March, Cindy Fosmire and her husband, Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
