GLENS FALLS — Kris Wilson, 53, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 after a fearless battle with cancer.

Kris was a graduate of Glens Falls High School and SUNY Plattsburgh and then pursued her love of fashion at Parsons Institute of Fashion. Kris’ career in fashion began at Polo Ralph Lauren with increasing roles at Liz Claiborne, Nine West and finally five wonderful years at Vince Camuto Group, as president of the handbag division overseeing design and sales for more than five brands under her umbrella. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband and their furry babies, sharing time between their NYC and Connecticut homes until just recently. Her strength, generosity, beauty and confidence were admired by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Wilson; her mother, Dorothy Kokoletsos (Jack); sister, Kim Hans (James); and brothers, Kevin Charles and Kent Charles (Mary). She was the adored aunt to Stephen Moore (Tatiana), Josh and Jessica Charles, Joshua and Samuel Brown and William T. Wilson (Jacque). She is also survived by many relatives and devoted and loving friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Our Lady of the Annunciation on Aviation Road in Queensbury.

A private burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery in Queensbury.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Washington, Connecticut.
