SARATOGA SPRINGS — Helen Rose Khoury, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Wesley Health Care Center, her home of many years.

Helen was born on Sept. 22, 1927 in Glens Falls, New York and was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Monsour) Khoury. She attended South Glens Falls School and worked as a babysitter and dishwasher in the area. Helen was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Saratoga Springs.

Helen enjoyed her life at the Wesley Community, as a volunteer, as a representative of her unit’s advisory board, and as an avid participant in the nursing home’s many social, and arts and craft activities.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and cousins, among them Linda (David) Patrick of Geneva, New York; Kathryn (John) Sianan of Arlington, Texas; George (Ann) Morwood of Mabank, Texas; David, Rebecca, and Arie Patrick of Geneva, New York; Gregory, Veronica, and Elias Patrick of Canandaigua, New York; Michael and Marcus Sianan of Arlington, Texas; Yvonne, Faddoul, and Ted Monsour of Queensbury, New York; and special friend, Patricia Poulette of Gansvoort, New York as well as her many friends of 4 Victoria, Wesley Health Care Center.

Helen was predeceased by her brothers, John Corey, Michael Khoury, Nicholas Khoury, Abraham Khoury, George Khoury and Jabra Khoury; sisters, Mary Archimbeault, Anna Jacobs, Martha Abraham, Zina Koury, Emily Morwood, and Sarah DelSignore.

The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of the Wesley Health Care Center for care given to Helen over the years.

Following her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be held in the spring at the convenience of her family.
