GLENS FALLS — Charles Rhinehart Werner IV, 31, a resident of Glens Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1987 in Glens Falls, New York and was the son of Heidi M. (O’Leary) Werner of Staten Island and Charles R. Werner III of Johnsburg.
Charlie had a great passion for life, a love of music, and a deep devotion to his family. He also enjoyed drawing, mechanics, woodworking and fishing. He was a quick-witted comedian who loved to make people laugh. He had a heart of gold and will be grievously missed by his loved ones.
Survivors, besides his mother and father, include his stepfather, Ronald Peteroy of Staten Island; stepmother, Cherie L. Deline of Warrensburg; one daughter, Taylor Marie Werner of Glens Falls; three sisters, Bridget M. Spence of Glens Falls, Briana M. Perry of Glens Falls and Alexandra R. Werner of Warrensburg; two brothers, Hunter W. Werner of Warrensburg and Lucian C. Peteroy of Staten Island; two aunts, Margaret L. Werner of Lake George and Linda M. Morrisey of Texas; an uncle, John Werner of Glens Falls; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucille Werner of Glens Falls; maternal grandmother, Ingeborg Bovee of Florida; and a niece, Willow R. Burlingame of Glens Falls.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 15 at the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home following the service.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
