Corinth Lauren M. LaCasse, 44, of Gabriel Road, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at her home.
Born on May 26, 1964 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Penelope (Nestor) LaCasse of Hadley and the late Francis LaCasse Jr.
Mrs. LaCasse graduated from Hadley-Luzerne High School in 1982, and then graduated from Albany Medical School of Nursing with an registered nursing degree.
She was first employed as an R.N. at Saratoga Hospital, where she worked for many years. Most recently, she was employed by Seton Home Care as a visiting nurse.
Mrs. LaCasse enjoyed gardening and sewing and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
Survivors besides her mother include one daughter, Megan A. Reynolds of Corinth; one son, Michael J. Reynolds of Corinth; one grandson, Noah J. Reynolds of Corinth; her maternal grandmother, Marion Nestor of Syracuse; one brother, Eric J. LaCasse and his wife, Nancy of Wilton; two sisters, Melissa Tubbs and her husband, Stephen of Corinth, and Jennifer LaCasse of Stillwater; two nieces, Samantha and Izzy, and three nephews, John, Peter and Bubby; one aunt, Kate Gardner and her husband, Lawrence of Syracuse; and many friends.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at the funeral home.
