I also believe that everyone has the right to fair and equal application of the law and is innocent until proven otherwise.

Reasons for seeking this position: I believe in our justice system, just as I believe it should work for all sides. I also believe in furthering yourself, your knowledge and experience, not only in your personal life but in your professional life. I also wanted to show my children, if you want something, you must do something. So, go for it or you will never know. I believe I can handle this new challenge in my life.

Past public offices held: In the past I held an appointed position for the town of Jackson and the Washington County Planning Board as chairman, with over 28 years as a planning board member.

Credentials for office: Being the chairman, I had to act as a judge. To do that job correctly, I had to balance a fair and just outcome. My experience with local law enforcement has given me hands-on experience with vehicle traffic laws; my life’s experience with the spirit and intent of laws.

Reasons for seeking this position: I am seeking the position of town justice because I think that I have the qualifications to administer town and state law without conflicts. I have held the position of chairman for the town of Jackson and the Washington County planning boards. To me, it was acting as a judge and the rest of the board, the jury. As a business operator since the ‘70s, I feel I can be impartial in deciding small claims.
