Beginning Acoustic Guitar NEW!

Come join the circle and play guitar with us! Learn all the basics you need to play your favorite songs on guitar. Basic lessons in a friendly group setting, tailor-made for folks just starting out with this beautiful instrument! Gain confidence through learning correct guitar posture, tuning, technique and guitar care. Explore what makes music: notes, keys, chords, rhythms, tempos, patterns and melodies. Discover the joy of making music by playing with the group in a positive and supportive setting where everyone can be on the same page together. Advance your individual expression through learning to vary notes and strum patterns. Take home a clear practice plan and vocabulary charts in a printed guide, which covers all the basics you need. Graduate from the class with skills ready to play guitar for pleasure, and learn even more as you go forward.

Students must provide own acoustic (non-electric) guitar in good condition. Booklet provided as part of class fee. Strings, tuner, capo or other handy items will be available at class for sale at cost from instructor.
