Woolford is named foundation director
SARATOGA SPRINGS — Meredith Woolford has been named executive director of Saratoga Hospital Foundation, responsible for hospital fundraising and other development activities.
Woolford has more than a decade of experience in fundraising, community relations and marketing. She joined Saratoga Hospital in 2016 as manager of institutional development, and during her tenure increased sponsorship revenue, launched a major new fundraising event and nurtured key relationships with donors and other friends of the hospital.
Before joining Saratoga Hospital, Woolford held positions of increasing responsibility at Saks Fifth Avenue, advancing to senior manager of marketing operations, charitable giving and partnerships.
She is a mentor for Saratoga Sponsor-A-Scholar and a board member of Beyond My Battle, a Saratoga Springs-based nonprofit.
Woolford also served on the board of Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation and as a member of New York Cares. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of New Hampshire.
Woolford and her husband, Jim, live in Saratoga Springs with their two young daughters.
Kimberly Lyn joins Lotus Analytics
WARRENSBURG — Lotus Analytics recently named Kimberly Lyn as director of business development-North America, as part of the company’s ongoing expansion.
Lyn previously served as east regional business development and education manager for Murad LLC’s Professional Spa Division, according to a news release.
She joined Lotus Analytics in October.
The Warrensburg-based company provides solutions to help small, mid-sized and large companies streamline and improve efficiency.
Lyn has facilitated numerous business development and education workshops that have elevated overall team productivity and driven sales growth and operational effectiveness, the news release stated.
A Georgia native, Lyn has spent the past two decades managing and leading performance-driven teams across the U.S. in the specialty retail industry.
Pleat to chair part of bar association
Tara Anne Pleat of Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC, with offices in Clifton Park and Queensbury, was elected chairwoman of the elder law and special needs section of the New York State Bar Association.
Her tenure as chairwoman begins on June 1 and will run through May 31, 2020.
Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC is a law firm that concentrates its practice in the areas of special needs estate planning, special needs trust administration, traditional trust and estate administration, long-term care planning and elder law.
