GLENS FALLS — The rustic farmhouse furniture and flooring business Square Nail Rustics will open a 2,000-square-foot showroom in downtown Glens Falls.
The new showroom and offices will be in Union Square at 24 Pine St. and will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
Production will continue at the company’s Dix Avenue, Queensbury, facility. The business employs 26 people.
The current showroom is at 15 Boulevard, Queensbury.
A grand opening is scheduled for Feb. 1 at the new location.
“The new showroom is more than double the size of our current one,” said Eric Mattison, founder and owner of the company, in a news release. “Wide plank farmhouse flooring now accounts for about half of our business and the new gallery will feature about 1,000 square feet of flooring to showcase it.”
Company officials said the location is perfect because it is close to the Northway and the business is attracting new homebuyers as well as out-of-state customers outfitting their lake houses and cabins.
The business was founded in 2014 in Mattison’s garage.
