A member of the Division of Cardiology at Albany Med, Loka is an assistant professor of medicine at Albany Medical College. He is board certified in internal medicine, with subspecialty certifications in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Loka earned his medical degree from the Universite de Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He completed residency and fellowship training in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine in New York. In addition, Loka completed fellowship training in internal medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.
