I know that not a whole lot of people read this blog on reading, but for those who read, books can be a passion, so there are some who enjoy it.

After my recent post about P.D. James (I read her novel, "An Unsuitable Job for a Woman,") I received a couple of emails and an actual card from readers who are P.D. James fans.

Most recently, I posted about reading a Ross Macdonald novel, "The Way Some People Die," and this morning I found this email in my inbox:

"Thank you for your article in The Post Star on 'The Way Some People Die' by Ross Macdonald. I couldn't agree with you more. I just began reading "Folk dör så konstigt" which of course is the Swedish translation.

Yours Ulf Johansson, Kungälv, Sweden"

That's awesome.
