After a Saturday afternoon fire ripped through a two-family home at 26 Fairview Street in South Glens Falls, members of the community are collecting donations for the family, left homeless by the blaze.

Currently living in a hotel until they can find a new home, the family is in need of clothing, shoes and household items.

ARCA ink, 30 Bluebird Road in South Glens Falls, is accepting donations at the South Glens Falls location.

According to a Facebook post, the family needs everything. But only donate items that are gently used or new.

New only clothing:

Socks, underwear, T-shirts

New or gently used clothing:

Men's: 34 X 30 pants, large shirts, size 9.5 shoes

Women's: size 10 pants, large shirts, size 8 shoes

Boy's size five clothing, size 11 children's shoes

Women's size three to five pants, medium shirts, size 8 shoes

Men's large and women's medium and large coats are needed

Household items:

Pots, pans, dishes, towels, beds, sheets, blankets, utensils, knives, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, can opener
