Before there was JG3 we had Jimmer Fredette, and the Jimmer mania that riveted the nation during the end of his basketball career at Brigham Young University was a great time to be a local sports fan and soak up the kid's ascension to the top of the college hoops world.
The Utah university's television production company, BYUtv, has put together an interesting documentary on his career, including getting hosed in Sacramento (my opinion) and his stint in China, titled "The Lonely Master."
I have watched some of it, and I've been impressed so far. Editor Ken Tingley watched the whole thing and wrote this blog post about it.
There are a number of ways to watch it here in upstate New York, according to BYUtv's promotional people.
Viewers can tune-in to watch it on-demand for free at any time on BYUtv’s website and the BYUtv app, which is available in the app store, on Apple TV, YouTube, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, Xbox One and Windows Media. On Roku, which a lot of us use locally to access Spectrum content, download the BYUtv app.
It can also be watched online at bit.ly/2G4Rj2F.
