Democratic congressional candidate Mike Derrick, without releasing specifics, said his campaign's internal polling shows the race is tightening.
“We have polled, and what I will tell you is that her (Stefanik's) candidacy is dropping. Ours’ is rising and Matt Funiciello’s has been reduced by 50 percent,” Derrick said Monday at a press conference at SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury.
Derrick, a retired Army colonel from Peru, in Clinton County, is running in the 21st Congressional District against U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Willsboro, and Green Party candidate Matt Funiciello, a bread company owner and political activist from Hudson Falls.
