Kelly Eustis of Argyle announced he is launching donaldFWD, an independent national political action committee to promote the policies of President-elect Donald Trump and to support like-minded candidates in 2018 congressional races.
"Obviously Trump's not in office for another few weeks. I think we can make a lot of headway on his policies," Eustis said in a telephone interview on Tuesday.
Eustis established One Nation, a national conservative political action committee, in California in 2009, which he operated for about six years.
Previously he was political director for Our Country Deserves Better, another national PAC.
"This is a kind of different outreach because we haven't had a Republican president in eight years," Eustis said of the new venture.
Eustis, who will serve as executive director of donaldFWD, said the new PAC will have a policy of spending 90 percent of contributions raised directly on advocacy -- initially digital marketing with a goal of expanding into radio and television.

He would not identify individuals that will serve as board members and staff.
"There's a team being assembled now. It's a little premature for me to talk to you about it," he said.
Eustis said he will be filing paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission in early January to formally establish the PAC.
Eustis, who grew up locally, relocated from California back to Argyle in September and established a house painting and interior design business.
He said he hopes to make the PAC a full-time venture.
