On Wednesday, the Screen Actor Guild Awards nominees were announced which included some more praise for a locally filmed miniseries.
The guild recognizes Patricia Arquette, as a best actress nominee, who stars as tailor shop supervisor Joyce "Tilly" Mitchell, in the Showtime miniseries "Escape at Dannemora
The miniseries chronicles the summer of 2015 prison escape at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora and was filmed at several locations in Warren County.
Other nominees include Amy Adams, "Sharp "Objects"; Patricia Clarkson, "Sharp Objects"; Penelope Cruz, "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story"; and Emma Stone, "Maniac."
This latest recognition builds on top of stellar reviews as the show heads into its fifth episode on Sunday and two Golden Globe nominations last week for the Ben Stiller-directed series.
The miniseries was nominated in the Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture category and Arquette was nominated for Best Actress.
