Queensbury native and "The Voice" contestant Delaney Silvernell released her newest single "Bow & Arrow" this week to positive reviews.
In an interview with Talk About Pop Music she said she wrote the song with a friend after being eliminated from the show.
“I felt deeply discouraged and confused while transitioning from the reality TV world back to regular life, and struggled to understand the entire experience. These feelings inspired me to write from the total opposite perspective. I wanted to convey courage and inspiration in hopes to communicate those feelings to motivate others who are feeling lost and uninspired."
Silvernell was eliminated in the knockout round after stints on Team Adam and Team Kelly. Silvernell recently returned to the area and performed three sold-out shows at The Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls. This is her third single release following “No Shame” and “Access”.
