FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Shane Conacher and Paul Rodrigues scored second-period goals that helped the Adirondack Thunder post a 4-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday night.
The Thunder continue their month-long road trip Saturday night with a game in Cincinnati (7:35 p.m.).
The goals by Conacher and Rodrigues gave the Thunder a 3-1 lead. Artur Tyanulin got one back for Fort Wayne late in the period, but Terrence Wallin scored for Adirondack 4:42 into the third period.
Nick Riopel was in goal for the Thunder, stopping 29 of 31 shots on goal. Brian Ward scored a first-period goal for the visitors.
