Sightings

Saw this young fellow out for a stroll. Interesting that he still has his headgear; most have been shed by this time. On other notes, people are seeing snowy owls, rough-legged hawks and short-eared owls all over the Washington County Grasslands.

Be careful how you park the car with the tall, frozen snowbanks and make sure you respect private property. Just like for hunting fishing, snowmobiling or any other outdoor activity — you must ask for and receive permission to go on private property under any circumstances.
