PHILADELPHIA -- According to several reports from the Philadelphia media on Tuesday night, the Philadelphia Flyers recalled forward Tom Sestito from the Adirondack Phantoms.

Sestito is finishing an NHL suspension for a hit in a preseason game on Andre Deveaux of the New York Rangers on Sept. 26. Sestito was suspended for the final three games of the preseason and two regular-season games, which he didn't serve at the time.

The Flyers played Tuesday in Washington and play again on Thursday.

It's unclear if the intent is for him to serve the final two games of his suspension and return to the Phantoms, or if he's going to remain with the Flyers after he finishes serving his suspension on Thursday.

Sestito was on the roster for the Flyers' game in Washington on Wednesday and it counted toward his suspension.

Sestito is second on the Phantoms with eight goals. He has 14 points in 24 games
