Coach: Ron Cetnar (Second season)

Key players lost: none

Key veterans: Nicole Merritt, Jade Litchfield, Kerry McMullen, Rebecca Fahey

Key newcomers: Rachael Gugliemelli, Rochell Gugliemelli

Outlook: Coach Cetnar said defense will be the team's strong point this season, but putting up huge numbers is where the team will struggle. Rebecca Fahey will provide points and second chance points as she is the best rebunder on the team. Cetnar said the Gugliemelli sisters will be a huge factor on the team


Coach: Joe Girard Jr. (First season)

Key veterans: Amanda Mason, Chelsea Garofalo, Katelyane Sullivan

Key newcomers: Rebecca Greenslade, Heather Mackey, Nina Parsons, Adrienne Zurlo, Sami Corlew, Jerrah Steams

Outlook: Coach Girard joins the family occupation, his father a coach and his first cousin, Mark, a coach at Hudson Falls, and will try to lead a young team. Girard has Garofalo for two one more season, as she is one of the top returning players in the league. 14 players on their roster should add depth. Team has height in the frontcourt.


Coach: Ed Collar (ninth season)

Key veterans: Breanne Sauve, Jenna Wehn

Key newcomers: Jamie Mulhall

Outlook: Wehn returns as the team leading scorer on a team comprised of one senior, two juniors, six sophomores and one freshman. Collar feels the teams' strength is its' ability to execute offensivly but said the younger, and more inexperienced players could be the team's weakness.


Coach: Mark Girard (Fifth season)

Key players lost: Nicole Meddleton, Liz Brayman

Key veterans: Jessica Mylott, Jeni Tripp, Laura Heil, Janelle Gillingham, Jessica Cortese

Key newcomers: Alisha Knobel, Carly Chamberlain, Katie Comstock

Outlook Coach Girard said where the team lacks in size, they will make up for with speed. Jessica Mylott and Jen Tripp will be the go-to players in the post. Girard said the team will share the number of baskets, with the top scorers being Jessica Cortese, Alisha Knobel, Cary Chamberlain and Laura Heil.


Coach: Jim Mraz (fourth season, overall record as head coach 67-6)

Key veterans: Kristin Mraz, Cassie Cirillo

Key newcomers: Kayla May, Nicole Etherton, Kayla Loucks

Outlook: it will be a rebuilding year for the Lady Bills after losing four of their starting five to graduation that led Johnstown to a undefeated regular season at 16-0. Duo of Mraz and Cirillo could be the best duo in the league.


Coach: Bruce Healy (15th season)

Key veterans: Kristen DeSanti, Steph Herschleb, Lauren DeMarco, Mary Swift

Key newcomers: Marissa McGuirk

Outlook: Kristen DeSanti highlights a list of players who return from last season's squad which finished with a 9-7 record. Stef Herschleb will take the pressure off DeSanti in the post with her rounded perimiter game. The Spartans will try to convert turnovers they force on defense into points as they will try and make a habit of executing a fast-tempo game.


Coach: Cara Sheehan, Jolene Johnston (First season)

Key players lost: None

Key returning players: Inneke Carmola, Caitlin Powers

Key newcomers: Brenna Arket

Outlook: Sheehan and Johnstown are the new head coaches at Scotia and will look to help the Tartans improve from their 6-10 Foothills Record last season. Sheehan said the team's goals are to finish in the top ten of the league and advance into sectionals. The coaches will look to Inneka Carmola, at guard, and Caitlin Powers, who can play forward and center, to lead the team.


Coach: Michael Nolan (fourth season, overall record as coach 42-25)

Key veterans: Micah Truax, Erinn O'Rourke, Alyssa Davis, Julie Paska, Brittany Celeste, Erin Curley, Beth Belair, Corina Davis

Key newcomers: Lindsey Cote, Kari McCabe, Tricia Washburn, Kari Manning, Bethany Truax

Outlook: Nolan has eight seniors returning from last year's squad that went 13-3 during the regular season. Team has athleticism, quickness, team chemistry and can also play solid defense.
