MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Adirondack Thunder moved into sole possession of first place in the ECHL’s North Division on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Manchester.
The Thunder scored once each period and got an outstanding debut performance in goal from Olivier Mantha, who stopped 30 of 31 shots.
Pierre-Luc Mercier notched his 15th goal of the season at 6:57 of the first. Manchester tied it in the second before Adirondack retook the lead on Andrew Radjenovic’s seventh tally of the season.
The Thunder got an insurance goal in the third when Mercier struck again on an assist from Conor Riley, who finished with two.
