GLENS FALLS -- The Adirondack Thunder on Tuesday announced that they have acquired the rights to forward Eric Neiley from the Atlanta Gladiators, in exchange for the rights to forward Phil Lane.
Neiley, 25, tied for the Gladiators' team lead in goals during the 2016-17 season, netting 27 in a career-high 47 points in 61 games played. The 5-foot-11 winger had 12 multi-point games last season, was second on the team in penalty minutes with 96, and also appeared in seven AHL games in his career. He skated with the Providence Bruins in 2014-15 and 2015-16, in addition to 47 games with Atlanta in 2015-16.
The Westminster, Pennsylvania native played four seasons at Dartmouth and is one of three players to score more than 90 points with more than 140 penalty minutes in his career.
