GLENS FALLS — Five Adirondack Thunder players will be attending training camp with American Hockey League clubs before the 2017-18 season.
Four players — forwards Pierre-Luc Mercier and Tim Harrison, and defensemen Tim Boyle and Desmond Bergin — will be with the Binghamton Devils, the Thunder's AHL affiliate. Forward Terrence Wallin will be in camp with the Syracuse Crunch.
Also with the Crunch is forward Ty Loney, who signed an AHL contract with Syracuse earlier this week. Loney played 41 games with Adirondack last season, and the Thunder hold his ECHL rights.
The Thunder begin their ECHL training camp at Cool Insuring Arena on Monday.
